LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – Lima City Schools' new superintendent, Andre Rudolph, is hosting "Afternoons with Andre," a series of meet-and-greet events across the district.
These events allow community members, parents and staff to hear about his vision for the district and discuss what the community wants to see in his role as superintendent. At an event Thursday afternoon at Lima West Middle School, Rudolph reflected on his first month in the position and shared his plans for moving the district forward. He said the goal of the meet-and-greets is to build relationships and be accessible.

“Most importantly, I want to build authentic relationships. I want to build them with our kids, I want to build them with our staff. You'll see me visible and accessible at games and within the buildings. A lot of people have seen me at drop-offs, you might have seen me on the school bus — I rode the school bus. I just try to take every opportunity I can to interact with all of our stakeholders,” said Rudolph.
If you’d like to meet Superintendent Rudolph, the next "Afternoons with Andre" events are scheduled for:
Thursday, Sept. 11: South Science and Technology Magnet School, 1–2 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 18: Lima Senior High School, 5–6 p.m.
