LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — With the unofficial start of summer over Memorial Day weekend, it's time for the return of the Lima Farmers Market.

The market will once again be held at the University of Northwestern Ohio’s Racer Station on Cable Road. This marks the second year the event will take place at the university. The first market of the season kicks off this Saturday, May 31, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Shoppers can expect a wide selection of fresh, local produce—some of which is picked the same morning as the market. In addition to fruits and vegetables, vendors will offer baked goods, canned jellies, and other homemade products. Organizers say there will be something for everyone this Saturday at the Lima Farmers Market.
