Lima businesswoman Megan Horton is continuing her efforts to support local entrepreneurs through her “Mega” pop-up events. With the arrival of fall, Horton is featuring a group of Lima designers in a seasonal fashion show. She says it’s important to support local artists and experience their unique flair for fashion.

“So that’s our job, is to make sure there’s nobody in here messing around and causing problems for people that just want to come out here, enjoy the fair and have a good time,” Treglia said. “And so the board members don’t have to worry about it, and the vendors don’t have to worry about it, and the 4-H clubs don’t have to worry about it. We’ll take care of all the problems, just let us know where it’s happening.”

“I really think people underestimate the taste of downtown,” said Cricket Rodriguez. “We have restaurants who are really offering great items for only $5, so you can come down with your spouse, with a friend, with your family, and walk around and get to try samples of folks’ menu for only $5.”

Shoppers can expect a wide selection of fresh, local produce—some of which is picked the same morning as the market. In addition to fruits and vegetables, vendors will offer baked goods, canned jellies, and other homemade products.
