ST. MARYS, Ohio (WLIO) – An Auglaize County summer tradition of fun continued for its second day in St. Marys.

Residents and visitors came out for this year’s St. Marys SummerFest. Festivalgoers walked around enjoying classic Midwest fair food staples, carnival-themed games and live music. The day also featured the ArtFest Juried Art Show, pickleball tournaments at K.C. Geiger Park and various vendors. The night ends with a performance by Adam and the Armadillos. With SummerFest a decadeslong tradition, organizers say it is an opportunity for everyone to reconnect back at home.

Food, games and music highlight St. Marys SummerFest weekend

“This is a great opportunity for people to come home. We have several high school reunions that come and they meet at SummerFest. It's a great opportunity for families to get together, come enjoy the entertainment that's here and reconnect to St. Marys,” says Jeff Squire, Member of the St. Marys SummerFest Committee.

SummerFest will continue through Sunday. Visit stmaryssummerfest.com for the schedule of events.
