FURMAN, South Carolina — DSJ’s Cameron Elwer continued his state championship run while also revisiting the college decision that brought him to Furman University, where he committed to play basketball in the fall.
Elwer spent time on campus building relationships and getting acclimated with the program, a visit that highlighted his early connection with the Paladins and their coaching staff.
Furman head coach Bob Richey also spoke about the recruiting process, explaining when the staff identified Elwer as a priority target and what stood out about the Delphos standout that ultimately led to the commitment.
