LIMA (WLIO) — The Lima Locos kept their Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League playoff hopes alive Wednesday, defeating the Muskegon Clippers 9-1 to even the best-of-three series at one game apiece.

Lima jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning before adding three more runs in the fourth. Shane Miranda drove in five runs, including a sacrifice fly and a two-run single in the eighth, while Grant McGuire also picked up an RBI.

The winner-take-all Game 3 is set for Thursday at 7:05 p.m. at Simmons Field.
