FINDLAY, Ohio (WLIO) — Two Kentucky men were arrested after Findlay police allegedly discovered 22 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop on Interstate 75.
Forty-two-year-old Deontay Persley and 48-year-old Gregory Butler were arrested Sunday on drug possession charges.
According to the Findlay Police Department, officers noticed a suspicious vehicle on I-75 and conducted a traffic stop. Police determined the vehicle was traveling from Michigan to Kentucky and located 22 pounds of marijuana inside the vehicle.
According to the Hancock County Jail's website, Persley and Butler were released on bond early Tuesday morning. They are scheduled to appear in court for hearings in August.
