ALLEN COUNTY, Ohio (WLIO) - A 19-year-old Michigan man was arrested after a police chase down I-75 Thursday morning.
Liam Gallagher is in the Allen County Jail charged with fleeing and eluding for the incident that started in Allen County and ended in northern Shelby County.
According to the officials from the Lima Post, the incident started around 7:30 Thursday morning. AÂ trooper was assisting Gallagher, who was out of gas, around near the SR 81 exit in Allen County. After giving him a little over four gallons of gas, Gallagher left the trooper, he began driving with excessive speed.
The trooper attempted to pull him over, and the chase began with speeds reaching over 115 miles per hour. The chase ended just inside the Shelby County line, when Gallagher stopped in the median of the interstate.
