KALIDA (WLIO) — Fairview captured its first ACME Baseball state championship in program history Monday with a dramatic 4-3 walk-off victory over defending champion St. Henry at Holy Name Ballpark.

The Redskins built a 3-1 lead behind RBIs from Nick Lefeld, Drew Langenkamp and Cooper Laguire before Fairview mounted one final rally in the seventh.

Trailing by two with the bases loaded, Calvin Kepler ripped a walk-off, bases-clearing double to the left-field wall, lifting the Apaches to the historic state title.
