KALIDA (WLIO) — St. Henry is headed back to the ACME state championship game after a dramatic 6-5 walk-off victory over Archbold in Sunday’s semifinal at Holy Name Ballpark.

Trailing 4-2 in the fifth inning, the Redskins rallied with RBI plays from Tate Boeckman and Cooper Laguire before Landen Schwartz drove in Jack Fullenkamp to give St. Henry a 5-4 lead.

Archbold answered in the top of the seventh when Elijah Verhoff delivered an RBI single to tie the game at 5-5. In the bottom half, St. Henry loaded the bases, and Schwartz came through with a game-winning single up the middle to score Fullenkamp and send the Redskins to Monday’s state final.
