LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — The Lima Family YMCA is reminding area athletes that there is still time to register for the 42nd annual Lima Family YMCA Kewpee Triathlon and Duathlon, which will be held Sunday.
Participants can register online through Wednesday or sign up on race day between 6:45 and 7:15 a.m. Individual registration costs $90, while teams of two or three can register for $100.
The event is open to participants of all ages and features both triathlon and duathlon competitions. Following the races, children are invited to participate in a free 1K fun run.
The competition begins at 8 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 2.
Organizers say the annual event continues to welcome both experienced competitors and first-time participants while promoting fitness and healthy living throughout the community.
