The Shelby County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal accident that happened Wednesday morning.
According to Sheriff John Lenhart, the accident happened just after 7:30 a.m. in the 2000 block of Millcreek Road just outside of Sidney. A flatbed truck was parked on the road when a Toyota Tacoma pickup, that was driving in the same lane, struck the flatbed from behind. The driver of the pickup was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the flatbed truck was taken to Wilson Health for treatment.
The sheriff's office has not released the name of the people involved.
