According to a statement from the Lima Police Department, King was traveling north on St. Johns Avenue when he attempted to pass several vehicles at the intersection by moving into oncoming traffic. During the maneuver, he struck two vehicles and was thrown from his motorcycle.
Vivian Walker, 23, died from injuries sustained in the crash, which occurred just before 4:30 a.m. on State Route 66, south of Rangeline Road.
The 3 vehicle crash happened just after 9:30 pm at the I-75 interchange at Trenton Ave. Clarance Bethel II, 45 was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Cincinnati man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on I-75 last night. The Ohio State Highway Patrol says 20-year-old Cole Kennedy was killed in the crash that happened at the State Route 696 overpass around 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Troopers say that Kennedy was heading north when he was negotiating the left bending curve when the vehicle drove off the right side of the road and struck a concrete support of the overpass. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
A Continental man has died from injuries sustained in a crash in Putnam County Wednesday night. The Ohio State Highway Patrol identified the victim as 34-year-old David Wagner. They say he was on his motorcycle heading north on County Road 21 just after 8 p.m. Troopers say he ran into the SUV of 45-year-old Thomas Elkins, also of Continental. Elkins was driving south, trying to turn left into a private drive. Elkins received treatment at the scene for his minor injuries.
One man is dead following a crash over the weekend in Mercer County. At approximately 3:04 p.m. Sunday afternoon, 44-year-old Kimo Bechtol was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle crash on State Route 49, near the intersection of Fox Road, south of Fort Recovery. Two passengers, a 13-year-old and an 8-year-old, were injured, and both were transported to Mercer Health in Coldwater. The two minors were then transferred to a Dayton hospital, with the 13-year-old suffering serious injuries.

The investigation revealed that a male, from Mendon, OH, was driving a Chevy van, traveling north on US Route 127. Cody L Snyder (30) of Seymour, IN, was traveling southbound in a 2015 white Freightliner semi-tractor and trailer. For an unknown reason, the unnamed male traveled left of center, striking Snyder.

Dusseau of Maumee was operating a 2014 International commercial tractor/trailer outfit eastbound on State Route 795 and was stopped at the red traffic light at Glenwood Road.
August 7, 2024, Press Release from the Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol: Findlay – The Findlay Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a single vehicle. The crash occurred on August 7, 2024 at approximately 1:26 A.M. on Interstate 75 near mile post 160 in the City of Findlay in Hancock County. The preliminary investigation reveals a 2010 Nissan Sentra, driven by Dane Green-Moran, age 17, of Findlay Ohio, was traveling north on Interstate 75 near mile post 160. The Nissan Sentra swerved off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail and continued off the roadway and struck a ditch culvert. The vehicle came to final rest and became fully engulfed by fire. The fire was extinguished a short time later by Liberty Township Fire Department.
