LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – A St. Marys man was killed Thursday evening when his motorcycle collided with two vehicles on Lima’s south side.
Lima Police were called to the intersection of South St. Johns Avenue and East Fourth Street at around 6:15 p.m. for a reported crash. When officers arrived, they found 55-year-old Glendon King suffering from serious injuries. He was transported to Lima Memorial Health System, where he was later pronounced dead.
According to a statement from the Lima Police Department, King was traveling north on St. Johns Avenue when he attempted to pass several vehicles at the intersection by moving into oncoming traffic. During the maneuver, he struck two vehicles and was thrown from his motorcycle.

Police say it appears King was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
