LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) — More than 100 vehicles filled the lot at Lima Auto Mall as car enthusiasts gathered for the sixth annual car show hosted in partnership with the Western Buckeye Region of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America.
The public event featured a wide variety of classic and modern cars, trucks and motorcycles, giving spectators an opportunity to meet owners and learn more about the vehicles on display.
In addition to the vehicle showcase, attendees enjoyed children's activities, door prizes, a 50/50 drawing and raffle items. A portion of the proceeds from the event benefited Habitat for Humanity. Organizers said the annual show celebrates automotive history while bringing together enthusiasts from across the region.
“Innovations made over the years as automakers were developing new ideas and coming up with new features. Every year was different and and as over time you come to the point where the today's automobiles are much more comfortable, but these are a lot of fun to get out and enjoy them,” said Dan Groman, director of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America Western Buckeye Region.
Vehicles were judged by both children and adults, with trophies awarded to the top 25 entries as well as several special category winners.
