Lots of kids getting their Easter treats at Martin Luther King Jr. Park.

Hundreds of plastic eggs were scattered throughout the park.

The event was part of the Easter celebration at the Mizpah Community Center.

Organizer Ronnie Shurelds says there were lots of prizes in those plastic eggs.

“Inside them eggs , some of them there’s prizes, like free haircuts and stuff like that. Even this balloon over here that’s filled with candy, they can even win that. It’s just things that we do,” said Shurelds.”

Prior to the egg hunt there was a free hot dog dinner and an Easter basket giveaway for the young children as well as a bike raffle.
