Kids flooded the streets of Indianbrook to get their candy and show off their costumes. Video game, TV, and movie characters are popular this year, and one trick-or-treater was spotted dressed as a Stanley Cup. A few kids took a break from hunting for those full-size candy bars to explain their costumes.Â
"Chase," said 3-year-old Josiah Reed. "Your costume is Chase? What's it from?" his mom asked. "From my mommy," Josiah said. "What show is it from?" "From PAW Patrol."
"I chose a ghillie suit. He is dressed as Vecna from the show Stranger Things; he is Clint Eastwood, and he is also a Demogorgon from the show Stranger Things as well," 12-year-old Lucca Guerrero explained of his group.
One home in Indianbrook is known for going the extra mile on Halloween. Several volunteers not only hand out candy but also have games and a free raffle for kids to win toys too.

"This is sponsored by Lima First Church, and they have paid for all the candy and the prizes, and everything. Every year it works so good because people not only get a great prize, they also get a little affiliation from the church. A lot of them are amazed, I believe, because we give away a lot of stuff. I mean, it's really nice," explained Jerry Harris, who owns the home.
Families also say the effort put into decorations on homes and in the yards is another reason they choose to trick or treat in Indianbrook.Â
