HANCOCK COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - One person is in custody, another is on the loose after a police chase in Hancock County around midnight.

The suspects' car traveled around 11 miles into Wood County, just south of North Baltimore, then stopped.
Findlay police officers tried to do a traffic stop on Main Street, but the car took off. Other law enforcement joined the chase. The suspects' car traveled around 11 miles into Wood County, just south of North Baltimore, then stopped. Two people got out of the car and ran into a cornfield. Officers formed a perimeter around the cornfield, and the police drone was deployed. The Ohio State Highway Patrol helicopter was called in. The helicopter found one of the suspects but could not find the second.
Suspected illegal drugs were found, and the suspect admitted they were his; he has been booked in the Hancock County Jail. The incident is still under investigation. No names have been released.
