A Findlay man is in custody after suspected drugs were discovered in his home.
One person is in custody in connection to an online scam that defrauded an Allen County resident.
The chase continued through Putnam, Defiance, and Henry counties before the suspect lost control and crashed the vehicle. No injuries were reported in the incident.
William “Frankie” Edge, 46, was taken into custody and is being held in the Allen County Jail on two outstanding warrants, along with suspicion of felonious assault and weapons under disability charges.
The trial is underway for a 20-year-old man facing charges related to a shooting last summer at Bill’s Drive-Thru. Jeremiah Washington, 20, is currently charged with felonious assault and aggravated robbery. Both charges carry firearm specifications. In July 2024, Allen County deputies responded to Bill’s Drive-Thru after receiving reports of a shooting.
An 18-year-old is in custody after an officer involved shooting in Kenton on Tuesday night.
Several residents have reported receiving phone calls claiming they failed to appear for jury duty and that if they do not take immediate action, they will be arrested. According to Allen County Sheriff Matt Treglia, these calls are fraudulent.
Brandon Johns, 37, is facing charges for failure to comply with a police officer. He was also wanted on a warrant out of Logan County.
Officials from the sheriff’s office said that at 4:14 a.m., deputies were called to the 1500 block of Edgewood Drive for a male who was down in a yard. They found the man dead with multiple stab wounds.
Yusef Abdulrahman has been charged with improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, aggravated menacing, and inducing panic.
