Michael Whisman, 33, Van Wert, changed his plea to Guilty to and amended charge of Domestic Violence, M1. Court ordered a misdemeanor report and set sentencing for 3/27/24 @ 9:00 a.m.
Scott Bowman, 21, Convoy, changed his plea to Guilty of the following: Count 1: Obstructing Official Business, F5; Count 2: Improperly Handling Firearms in a Motor Vehicle, F5; Count 3: Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol, a Drug of Abuse or a Combination of them, OVI, M1; and Count 4: Possession of Cocaine, F5. He then requested, and was granted, Intervention in Lieu of Conviction on Counts 1, 2 and 4, and his case was stayed pending completion of the treatment program. As to Count 3, he was sentenced to 2 years community control, mental health and substance abuse assessment and treatment, complete driver intervention program, ordered to pay court costs.
