The book sale is a long running tradition for the organization and helps fund the scholarships they give out.  Members have been collecting books and other items, like puzzles and music, all summer to get ready for this weeklong sale.    The AAUW only excepts cash and checks only.

The unpacking, sorting and pricing has begun for an annual book fair, and donations are now being accepted.

More than 100-thousand books will be for sale at the American Association of University Women's Book Fair at a new location. This year’s book fair will be at the old Autozone store at the corner of Elida road and Homeward. The AAUW has held the fair for more than 50 years as a fundraiser for scholarships and camps allowing young women to continue their education.  While the book fair isn't until early September the preparation takes many weeks.
