A Lima man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for a standoff with police last summer. 60-year-old Mark Seffernick was sentenced this morning in Allen County Common Pleas Court. He pleaded guilty to five counts of felonious assault; two of the counts had gun specifications, and all five were felonies of the first degree. Ten other counts were dropped as part of a plea deal.

The Lima Police Department has released more information about an overnight stabbing. Officers were called out around nine last night to 900 Albert Street. They found 25-year-old Christopher Lujan with a non-life threatening stab wound to his leg. Police found out Lujan had got into an argument with his stepfather. When it got heated, 49-year-old Russell Smith stabbed him. Lujan was taken to the hospital and will be okay.
