LIMA, OH (WLIO) – The Lima Police Department has provided an update on the man found with a head wound in a car on Albert Street.
Lima police officials say that upon further investigation, detectives have determined that the injuries were not from a gunshot but from a blow to the head with a blunt force object.
On March 11th at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers were called to the 500 block of Albert Street for reports of a man with a head wound sitting in a car. The man is currently in stable, but critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the injured man found on Albert Street is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 419-229-7867 (STOP) or the Lima Police Department at 419-227-4444.
