The City of Lima got four inches of snow from Saturday night through Sunday morning. With a fresh sheet of snow over the roads, snow plows could be seen all over the area starting to clean them up.
Some good news for the Allen County Engineer’s Office as the summer road paving project gets underway. Commissioners approving a bid for liquid asphalt that came in way under the engineer's projected cost. It was more than 100-thousand dollars under budget. The department had planned to chip and seal up to 70 miles of roadway in the county and could do more thanks to the company's smart purchasing.

With another round of snow expected for the weekend, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is prepping for the next couple of inches we could see in our area.
As of Friday, more snow is expected to hit compared to last weekend but as ODOT prepares, they will treat it just like any other snow event.
