Police were able to arrest Focht once they learned that he may have been involved in the stabbing. They found Paul Whiteholter suffering from numerous knife wounds and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police were able to gain information that Focht was involved in the incident and fled the scene.
Lima police were called out to 597 Harrison Avenue where they found Paul Wietholter suffering from numerous knife wounds. He was taken to Lima Memorial Health System and is in stable condition. Investigators say they found out that Andrew Foht was allegedly involved and had taken off. They found him a few blocks away and made the arrest. He will face a felonious assault charge. Officers were called to a home in the 500 block of Harrison Street just after 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon on reports of a person being stabbed. Police are releasing few details at this time but have confirmed one person had been stabbed. Initial reports say that a suspect was believed to have fled on foot.
