Lima man accused of stabbing another in Lima changes plea in court

A Lima man indicted on two felonious assault counts on an alleged April stabbing has changed his original plea.

32-year-old Andrew Focht has changed his plea and will now plead guilty to one amended count of aggravated assault in his case. The count is a felony of the fourth degree.

Back on April 5th, Lima police officers responded to a home on Harrison Avenue where they found Paul Wietholter suffering from numerous knife wounds. Police were able to arrest Focht once they learned that he may have been involved in the stabbing.

Sentencing for his case has been set for August 4th.
