FINDLAY, Ohio (WLIO) — A fatal shooting initially believed to be accidental has led to multiple charges against a Findlay woman months after the incident.

Sierra Eady, 35, was indicted by a Hancock County grand jury on charges of murder, reckless homicide and voluntary manslaughter in connection with the death of 31-year-old Breanna Gonzales.

According to authorities, Findlay police were called on Nov. 14 to a home in the 1600 block of Queenswood Drive on reports of a shooting. Officers found Gonzales with a gunshot wound to the head. She later died at a hospital from her injuries.

During a 911 call, Eady told dispatchers the gun had accidentally fired and struck Gonzales.

Eady is currently being held in the Hancock County Jail.
