SHAWNEE (WLIO) — Two Shawnee seniors officially took the next step in their athletic careers with college signing ceremonies at the high school.
Anna Menke signed her letter of intent to continue her softball career at Defiance College. Menke earned All-Western Buckeye League honorable mention honors in 2025 after being named second team All-WBL as a sophomore and honorable mention as a freshman.
Alejandro Reyes also made his commitment official, signing to wrestle for Ottawa University’s Arizona campus. Reyes was a runner-up at the Western Buckeye League tournament, qualified for districts with a sixth-place finish and earned four varsity letters during his career.
