LIMA (WLIO) — Coldwater’s offense erupted early and often in a 19-0 run-rule victory over Shawnee at UNOH’s Racer Field.

The Cavaliers broke the game open in the third inning, starting with an RBI single from Rudy Kremer that scored Cadin Obringer. Coldwater added to the lead on a throwing error and later pushed the margin even further with a hit from Bennett Spriggs as part of a big inning.

On the mound, Briggs Howell helped keep Shawnee quiet, recording two strikeouts over three innings.

Shawnee turned a 4-3 double play in the third inning, highlighted by a strong throw from Cooper Hartman, but Coldwater’s offensive surge proved too much to overcome.
