4/6/22 Update - Press Release from the Lima Police Department: On Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at approximately 1455 hours, officers were dispatched to 597 Harrison in reference to a stabbing. Upon their arrival they located Paul Wietholter suffering from numerous knife wounds. He was transported to Lima Memorial and is in stable condition. Officers received information that Andrew Focht was involved but fled the scene. Officers located Andrew a few blocks away from where the incident occurred. He was arrested and is being held at the Allen County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of suspicion of felonious assault. 4/5/22 - Your News Now at 6:Â Police in Lima investigating a stabbing in Lima's south side earlier Tuesday afternoon.
Officers were called to a home in the 500 block of Harrison Avenue just after 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon on reports of a person being stabbed. Police are releasing few details at this time but have confirmed one person had been stabbed. Initial reports say that a suspect was believed to have fled on foot.Â
