SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP, Allen County, Ohio (WLIO)  — Shawnee Local Schools were placed on a soft lockdown after authorities responded to a reported anonymous threat, according to the Shawnee Township Police Department.
A school resource officer was first alerted to the threat, prompting school officials to initiate precautionary lockdown procedures across district buildings. Law enforcement officers assisted in investigating the situation and securing the परिसर.
The Allen County Emergency Management Agency deployed a drone to help search the surrounding area for any suspicious activity. Officials said no credible threat was found. After authorities determined the situation was safe, the district resumed normal operations.Â
