OTTAWA (WLIO) — Ottawa-Glandorf celebrated several college commitments during its latest signing day ceremony.

Maggie Schmiedebusch announced her commitment to Ohio Northern University, where she will continue her tennis career while pursuing a nursing degree.

She will be joined at ONU by standout thrower Anna Trinko, who was part of Ottawa-Glandorf’s Western Buckeye League championship track and field team last season.

On the baseball side, shortstop Grant Leopold committed to Trine University to continue his career with the Thunder.

Rounding out the group was Aiden Ruhe, the reigning WBL Bowler of the Year, who signed with UNOH to continue his bowling career with the Racers.
