The Lima Public Library's Melody Yoder is spending her 2023 focused on the area's mental health. She kicked off the year by hosting "Color Yourself Calm", where she aided attendees in taking time to relax and de-stress using healthy coping mechanisms

Several community agencies and nonprofits will gather on Sept. 15 at the Hancock County Fairgrounds to provide resources and information to community members. Resources will range from physical and mental health to workforce development and individual and family needs. a food distribution will be provided through West Ohio Food Bank from 1-3 p.m. All events will take place in the Buckeye Building at the fairgrounds.
Thursday was Senior Day and anyone 60 years and up could enjoy a free day at the fairgrounds. There were a few "Golden Age Day" parties put on at the gospel tent. And many of these seniors have a few things that they always look forward to when they stop by the fair every year.
