Many of the county's historical societies and museums will continue the tradition of 4th Sunday Open Houses in 2025, with numerous sites open for tours every 4th Sunday of the month from 1 to 4 p.m., through October. The next 4th Sunday is this weekend, on June 22.

History buffs took the streets Tuesday night in Downtown Wapakoneta to learn more about the rich history of the Auglaize County seat. The Auglaize County Historical Society hosted tours beginning at the Auglaize County Municipal Court and took local residents through Downtown Wapak to learn about some of the buildings they may drive by every single day. The tour included stops at the local post office and the Wapa Theatre as well as various shops and restaurants along East Auglaize Street, and the goal is to let residents learn something new about the city they live in.
