GOBA is an annual eight-day bicycle tour. On average, bicyclists ride 50 miles per day exploring the different attractions and destinations that predetermined host cities have to offer. Host cities also provide a large camping site for riders known as a Gobaville. This year, the tour takes place in western Ohio with riders arriving in Sidney on Saturday.

Perry Township – On May 12, 2022, at approximately 11:50 P.M. troopers responded to a report of a bicyclist being struck on SR 309, near Thayer Rd. Hali N. Conner, age 33, of Lima, was riding a bicycle eastbound on SR 309, near the right side berm when she was struck by an eastbound passenger vehicle.

A portion of North Street was closed for a short period due to a Car VS Bike accident. On Friday shortly after 4:00 PM, a driver was traveling on North Street towards Washington Street when the driver struck a pedestrian on a bike.

A Hancock County grand jury has charged a man who allegedly hit a bicyclist who later died from his injuries. 36-year-old Kory Conley was charged with aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicular assault for the death of 55-year-old Kenneth Bender. According to the Findlay Police Department, on September 27, 2019, Bender was riding his bike along the curb, when he was struck from behind and dragged for a distance, the driver of the car drove off. Police later arrested Conley and charged him with drug possession. Bender died about a week later from his injuries. If convicted, Conley could face a maximum of 11 years in jail.
