A portion of North Street was closed for a short period due to a Car VS Bike accident.
On Friday shortly after 4:00 PM, a driver was traveling on North Street towards Washington Street when the driver struck a person on a bike.
The rider of the bicycle sustained a head injury as a result of the crash. According to an officer of the Lima Police Department, the injury is not believed to be serious.
The person on the bicycle was taken to an area hospital as a precaution.
