Directors of the Putnam County YMCA met with the community today to discuss their plans for a new satellite branch.
A bicyclist was killed after he lost control and fell onto a Findlay street and was struck by a vehicle. The Findlay Police Department says that 85-year-old Dennis McCracken from Findlay died from injuries from the crash. The incident happened just before 10 a.m. in the 700 block of Trenton Avenue. McCracken was riding on the sidewalk when he lost control and fell into the street.

No experience is needed as you are assigned an area to watch for 2 hours and keep a tally of people who are riding bikes, walking, using scooters, or any other method of human-powered transportation.

The Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Paulding County where a 12-year-old was struck and killed while riding his bicycle on Labor Day.
The Hardin County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash that happened on State Route 235, north of County Road 80. 17-year-old Jayden Elwood of Ada was found dead by deputies after they got a 9-1-1 call just after 5 a.m., about a bicyclist who was possibly hit by a semi. The semi that allegedly hit Elwood was found later south of Kenton.
