DELPHOS (WLIO) — Delphos St. John’s standout Tyce McClain has signed his letter of intent to play Division I golf at Mercyhurst University.

McClain put together an impressive high school career, earning second-team All-State honors, finishing sixth at the state tournament and being named both sectional and district player of the year.

He also earned Midwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year honors during his junior season.

McClain capped his high school career by tying the school record with a 5-under 67 as he now prepares to continue his golf career at the collegiate level.
