“Not everybody has access to get to providers, to get to resources. So this event really is in the heart of downtown Lima area, and is in walking distance of a lot of different neighborhoods and it all. It puts it all in one spot,” said Catherine Lusky, community health coordinator at Mercy Health–St. Rita’s.
Several local organizations came together Saturday afternoon to help kids learn about bike safety.
The task force discussed many events that will be coming to Allen County in the coming months, that involve cycling or running.
Young bike riders had the chance to learn more about bike safety Saturday morning at a bike rodeo.
