Members of the Allen County Bike and Pedestrian Task Force gathered once again to keep up-to-date on all things, active transportation.
The task force discussed many events that will be coming to Allen County in the coming months, that involve cycling or running. One event brought up was the "Bike Rodeo" held in Lima on May 19th. Members were introduced to the Delphos Running Club, a group that gathers once a week to run or walk together. Also discussed was what infrastructure plans will impact "active transportation" in the county, specifically looking at projects in Johnny Appleseed Metro Park District.
With temperatures on the rise, the task force is encouraging people to get out, but be safe and be aware of the traffic laws.
