Superior Credit Union celebrates 70 years of service and growth in Ohio. They invited the public out to help celebrate, with free food and donuts. T102 provided the music, and they also had a money machine for people to try their luck at catching the most money that they could. Plus they had Wonka-style candy bars, and the golden ticket would get that person $700.

Lima City Schools will accept a grant to assist with the purchase of 4 electric school buses. The district was selected to receive a $1.4 million EPA Clean School Bus Grant to cover the little over $1.7 million total price tag. In addition to the 4 new electric school buses, the purchase will come with the needed electrical infrastructure and charging stations. District administrators say this is a step toward going greener while also being economically savvy.

May 23, 2024, Press Release from Lima City Schools: The Education Club at The Ohio State University at Lima recently held a book fair to raise money to purchase books for the Lima City Schools. The books will be used on the district’s Spartan Ride. A representative from the group will deliver the books at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, at South Science and Technology Magnet School. The Spartan Ride will be at the school.

There is protocol in place for the city's school buses as school restarts. Drivers have been given equipment to wipe down the seats in-between school pickups and to sanitize the entire bus at the end of the day.
