LIMA, OH (WLIO) - Superior Credit Union celebrates 70 years of service and growth in Ohio.

Superior has 25 branch locations throughout western Ohio.
They invited the public out to help celebrate, with free food and donuts. T102 provided the music, and they also had a money machine for people to try their luck at catching the most money that they could. Plus they had Wonka-style candy bars, and the golden ticket would get that person $700.

The financial institution has grown a lot since it began in October 1954.
"For those of you who might remember in our area, Superior Coach Corporation used to be a factory downtown by Kibby Street that made buses, hearses, and funeral cars. So, the employees of that factory wanted a credit union. So, that is how we formed. There were 20 founding members; now we have over 101,000 members," says Kelsey Joseph, Director of Marketing at Superior Credit Union.
