May 23, 2024, Press Release from Lima Central Catholic: The Lima Central Catholic High School Board of Governors voted unanimously this week to renew the ministerial contract for Principal/CEO Stephanie Williams. Ms. Williams continues to be instrumental in fully realizing Lima Central Catholic’s Strategic Plan adopted by the board two years ago. Emphasizing individual student well-being among other pillars, her work has led to the development of new programs and services addressing a student population with a variety of spiritual, academic, and social/emotional needs.

The United Way of Greater Lima’s “Women United Infinity Group” heard from motivational speaker Bruce Boguski sharing his story of overcoming a crippling auto accident, a stroke, and COVID-19 when he was told he wouldn’t survive. He survived every single one of them. He hopes each person walked away with a new perspective that change is inevitable but you can make it work to your advantage.

Erin Hardesty will be taking over the position from Derek Stemen in March. Hardesty has been a part of the United Way for over 30 years, serving as campaign chair in 2011 and served on just about every committee established at the agency. She also served on the board of directors for 12 years and as Labor Liaison connecting local unions to the work of the United Way. Stemen has accepted a job with LifeWise Academy to serve as their Director of Advancement.
