As you're out there getting that Black Friday shopping done, keep in mind there are safety precautions you want to take while shopping.

The Lima Police has some tips for your shopping such as try and shop during the day. If you shop at night, go with someone else and park under a light near the business. Don't leave any valuables visible in your car, rather lock them in the trunk. Carry money in your front pocket and purses close to you. Report any missing credit cards to your companies immediately. Overall just be conscious of your surrounding.
