A new safety service director was named during Delphos City Council Meeting on Monday. James Mehaffie was named new safety service director an introduced to council. Mehaffie has been working in public administration in Ohio for 18 years, with his longest tenure in Bluffton. 

A former Lima city court official was in Allen County Common Pleas Court today trying to get charges she is facing dismissed. 76-year-old Sue Barnett, former deputy clerk in the Lima municipal clerk of courts office, is accused of stealing money from January 1997 to May 2012.
