The City of Lima's Mayor’s Spring Cleanup program resumes this weekend after a Memorial Day break, offering residents access to dumpsters at six locations across the city. Through its first two weekends, the program has served 521 residents, filled 42 dumpsters and collected hundreds of tires and loads of debris.

Allen County commissioners have approved the annexation of about nine acres from Marion Township into the city of Delphos after a review process guided by state law. Officials emphasized the decision was based on the property’s current use, with a 30-day appeal period before finalization.

With more than 8 inches of snow falling from Saturday to late last night, the city of Lima is still working to dig out.
