The House Energy and Commerce Committee advanced the Precision Agriculture Satellite Connectivity Act - led by Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH5) and Congresswoman Robin Kelly (D-IL2) - to help farmers more easily incorporate technology into their operations.
As a member of the Energy and Commerce Communications and Technology Subcommittee, Bob Latta has worked to ensure internet connectivity is more reliable, efficient, and safe from outside threats. Latta introduced the Spectrum Innovation Act, which passed the U.S. House last year. The bill would benefit consumers by providing more reliable connections with faster speeds and more responsive networks.
