January 16, 2025, Press Release from the Delphos Police Department: On 1-05-2025 officers received a complained of subjects riding 4 wheelers on the roadway in the 1400 block of S. Clay St. On 1-05-2025 officers were sent to the 800 block of Skinner St, for a possible Domestic Dispute. On 1-06-2025 officers were sent to the 500 block of S. Main St, for an Unruly Juvenile complaint. On 1-06-2025 officers spoke with Management at a business in the 400 block of N. Main St, who reported that an ex-employee still had property belonging to the business and, requested assistance in retrieving the property.

January 15, 2025, Press Release from the United States Attorney's Office, Northern District of Ohio: CLEVELAND – Richard Seawright, 28, of Cleveland, has been sentenced to 33 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Dan Polster, after he pled guilty to reselling firearms he acquired legally, reselling them without a federal firearms license, and lying on paperwork that he was the actual buyer. According to court documents, Seawright legally bought more than 50 firearms from around April 17, 2018, to about Dec. 12, 2022, at federally licensed dealers throughout Northeast Ohio.

January 14, 2025, Press Release from the Office of Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost: (COLUMBUS, Ohio) — On National Human Trafficking Awareness Day, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost today is reflecting on the progress made by his office in 2024 to fight the scourge throughout the state. “Awareness is critical in educating the public that human trafficking happens anywhere and everywhere,” Yost said. “We’ve been focusing on demand reduction because without a buyer there is no human trafficking.” Each year on Jan. 11, Yost’s office joins in solidary with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and many others to mark National Human Trafficking Awareness Day. The observance is also known as Wear Blue Day, a chance for advocates in the fight against human trafficking to outwardly express that support by photographing themselves and others wearing blue and sharing those photos on social media (with the hashtag #WearBlueDay).
