January 16, 2025, Press Release from the Delphos Police Department: On 1-05-2025 officers received a complained of subjects riding 4 wheelers on the roadway in the 1400 block of S. Clay St.
On 1-05-2025 officers were sent to the 800 block of Skinner St, for a possible Domestic Dispute.
On 1-06-2025 officers were sent to the 500 block of S. Main St, for an Unruly Juvenile complaint.
On 1-06-2025 officers spoke with Management at a business in the 400 block of N. Main St, who reported that an ex-employee still had property belonging to the business and, requested assistance in retrieving the property.
On 1-06-2025 officers were sent to assist on a one vehicle crash in the 11000 block of Ridge Rd.
On 1-07-2025 officers met with a female in the 500 block of S. Washington St, who reported that her son stole the deed to her home.
On 1-08-2025 officers spoke with a female in the 600 block of E. 4th St, who reported that an unknown individual had stolen her credit card information and was making purchases in Van Wert.
On 1-08-2025 officer spoke with a female in the 700 block of N. Pierce. The female reported that she believes her daughter is being abused by the child’s stepmother.
On 1-08-2025 officers received a call from a female who stated that her boyfriend had left the residence upset and was making threats to harm himself. Officers were able to verify that the male had been located and was fine.
On 1-09-2025 officers responded to a residence in the 600 block of N. Jefferson St, to investigate a panic alarm activation.
On 1-10-2025 officers were sent to a residence on Metbliss St, after a female reported a male seen on camera getting in her garage. The male was the female’s ex-boyfriend and was retrieving his property.
On 1-10-2025 officers received a call from a third party who stated that a female told them her son threatened her. Officers met with the female and she stated that no such threat was made.
On 1-10-2025 a female called the police department to report that a restaurant in the 900 block of E. 5th St, had double charged her debit card. Officers spoke with the employees at the business and were told that the charge will be investigated.
On 1-11-2025 officers were sent to investigate an alarm activation at a business in the 900 block of Spencerville Rd.
On 1-11-2025 a female spoke with officers and reported that her granddaughter is being abused by the child’s mother’s live-in boyfriend. The abuse is reportedly occurring in the 200 block of W. Clime St.
On 1-11-2025 officers were dispatched to the 300 block of W. 1st, St, where a male reported that someone was trying to enter his home.
On 1-11-2025 officers were sent to a residence in the 200 block of King St, after a third party called the police department to report that her mother-in-law had been assaulted the previous day by the female’s granddaughter.
