The City of Lima has funding for small businesses, and they want to get the word out. With both federal and local dollars available, the city's Department of Workforce and Small Business Development is holding a workshop to explain what's what with the funding. Sources include the Small Business Revolving Loan, the COVID Relief Grant, the Better Blocks for Business Grant, and several more. The Fun with Funding Workshop will include assistance in filling out applications as well.

The Department of Workforce and Small Business Development is encouraging small, minority, women, and veteran-owned businesses to attend an open house next Wednesday to learn how they can get contract work with the City of Lima. While it is labeled a "Mowing Expo", it will offer resources for these types of entrepreneurs to learn what is needed to get work awarded to them.
